On November 1, 2011 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative coins of precious metals:

- a silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles "200 years of the Tsarskoe Selo lyceum";

The silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles "200 years of the Tsarskoe Selo Lyceum" (fine metal content 155,5g, fineness 925/1000, catalogue number 5115-0067, diameter 60,0 mm, mintage 1000 pcs) has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference.

The obverse side: the relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia – two headed eagle with wings down, and the semicircular inscription under it "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed by a circle of bears. The inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE ROUBLES) and the year of issue "2011", between them - the indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, the purity, the St. Petersburg mint trade mark and the fine precious metal content.

The reverse side bears the relief image of the monument to A.S. Pushkin against the background of Tsarskoe Selo Lyceum, the inscription at the bottom along the circumference says "ЦАРСКОСЕЛЬСКИЙ ЛИЦЕЙ" (TSARSKOE SELO LYCEUM).
