- the silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles "The Museum-Estate of V.D. Polenov, Tula Region" of the series "Architectural Monuments of Russia"
The silver proof coins in denomination of of 25 Roubles (fine metal content 155.5 g, fineness 925/1000, catalogue number 5115-0070, diameter 60.0 mm, mintage 2000 pcs) have the rim, raised on both sides of the coins along the circumference.
The obverse: the relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia - the two-headed eagle with wings down, and the semicircular inscription under it "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed by a circle of beads. The inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coins "ОДИН РУБЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE), "ДВА РУБЛЯ" (TWO ROUBLES) and "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE ROUBLES) respectively and the year of issue "2012", between them - the indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, the purity, the mint trade mark of and the fine precious metal content.
The reverse side:
- of the silver coin in denomination of 25 Roubles depicts the relief image of the Museum Estate of V.D. Polenov against the background of trees framed by a stylized floral ornamental pattern. The inscription in two lines at the bottom part of the coin says "МУЗЕЙ-ЗАПОВЕДНИК В.Д. ПОЛЕНОВА" (MUSEUM-ESTATE OF V.D. POLENOV).
The edge of the coins is corrugated.
The coins are legal tender of the Russian Federation. They are obligatory for acceptance for all kinds of payments without any restrictions at their face value.
