Bei der Bank of Greece habe ich schon nachgefragt. Auf meine Frage:

"Are the offered Greek gold coins exempt from VAT if they fulfil the criteria of Article 344 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2006 on the common system of value added tax?"

kam lediglich als Antwort:
"only professional coin sellers within EU are exempt from VAT."
