The Finance Minister, Jordi Cinca, has announced at a press conference the details of the issuance of the euro coins from the Principality of Andorra.

Thus begins the introduction of the first issue of Andorran euros with the distribution of two types of presentations in B.U. finish.

STARTER KIT

This issue is intended only for Andorrans or citizens resident in the Principality and it is distributed exclusively by the Government of Andorra. It is limited to one set per person and available only if one has a census number of the Principality of Andorra.


COLLECTOR COIN SET

It is aimed at coin collectors and has a limited mintage of 70,000 sets worldwide.

The distribution and marketing of this presentation will be carried out starting from 15th January 2015 by Servei d’Emissions – Andorra Mint.

In the coming days you will find all information needed for its acquisition at www.andorra-euro.com

From March 2015, the marketing of the proof and commemorative coins will start. For the issuance of the first commemorative 2 euro coin an image regarding the 20th anniversary of the entry of Andorra into the Council of Europe has been chosen.
