Letztes Jahr war die Ausgabe der Coincard aber erst am 24.09.10.
Die Ausgabe der losen Münze selbst wird sich sicher wieder verschieben.

The austrian niobium coins aren´t colored coins, but the color is caused by a chemical reaction. Dora means the coins, which were colored later and offered by ebay.
In my opinion, only the colored coins are official, which were colored in the mint, as the Belgian 5 Euro coin 2008 "Smurfs".

Oh werner018 they are bimetal coins and they should to show colors of different metals or alloys.


I do not like applying paint, pad printing etc on coins , especially on all or most of the surface of them. I like what Finland Mint did with 2008 Finnish Flag coin or Belgian 2008 Blue Bird by Maeterlinck. Well, I am not too much into colored Smurfs (sorry funs :pardon: ) and Django Reinhardt but they are not examples of the worst scenario. Some coins from RCM, Perth Mint, Poland Mint are just overdone with color and paint and such coins are issued by them toooooooo often.

I totally do not accept coloring of official coins by privet enterprises, for instance colored 2 euro commemorative coins.

I hope I explained my point of view.
