Das Hauptmotiv des Konzeptentwurfs der nationalen Seite der Gedenkmünze, die im Rahmen der Serie „Kroatische Städte“ herausgegeben wird, stellt die Arena von Pula dar, ein herausragendes Denkmal antiker Architektur in der Stadt Pula, von reicher historischer und kultureller Bedeutung für die Republik Kroatien und die Welt. Die Darstellung der Arena von Pula war eines der Hauptmotive auf der Rückseite der 10-Kuna-Banknote. Autor ist der akademische Bildhauer Duje Botteri.

The national side of the commemorative coin features the main motif of the Pula Arena (amphitheatre), one of the most prominent ancient monuments in the Republic of Croatia, from the perspective of the view from the Adriatic Sea presented symbolically below the main motif, which also highlights the Mediterranean character of the Republic of Croatia. To the right of the main motif is the depiction of the church of St. Anthony built in the 1930s, which is part of a panoramic view of the city of Pula.
