The obverse of the coin features the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank with the year ‘1879’ inscribed on the ribbon. Below the ribbon is the nominal value of the coin ‘100 ЛЕВА’ (BGN 100). In circumference there is the text ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK) and the year of issue ‘2010’.
The reverse of the coin features: a portrait of St. Naum after an icon, dating back to ХІV-ХV century, the church of the Monastery of St. Naum in Ohrid, where the relics of the saint are kept, and an inscription ‘Св. НАУМ’ (St. NAUM).
