The most beautiful way to collect coins. In line with tradition, the Proof coin set comprises all of this year’s glassy coated coins in an impressive wooden case. The set contains both of 2012’s special two euro coins.

The coin set contains ten proof-quality coins. The coins’ nominal values are €2, €1, and 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 cents. In 2012, two commemorative two-euro coins were released. One was struck to honour the 150th anniverary of the birth of Helene Schjerfbeck, one of the masters of Finnish art. The coin depicts one of Schjerfbeck’s long series of self-portraits and is designed by Erja Tielinen.

The other commemorative coin in the series celebrates the ten-year journey of the euro. The motive on the coin emphasises the euro’s significance in trade and industry and is designed by Helmut Andexlinger..
