The sculpture “Olympic Victory” by Emilio Greco is represented on the 10 euro silver proof coin celebrating the Centenary of the foundation of the Italian National Olympic Committee. Founded in 1914 and a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), it is responsible for the development and management of sports activity in Italy. On the reverse of the coin representation of the “Discobolus”, the discus thrower, by the Greek sculptor Myron.

Le monete d'argento da euro 10 commemorative del «100° Anniversario della fondazione del CONI (1914-2014)», millesimo 2014, nella versione «proof», aventi le caratteristiche di cui al decreto del Direttore Generale del Tesoro n. 4092 del 21 gennaio 2014, indicato nelle premesse, hanno corso legale dal 7 maggio 2014.
Art. 2
Il contingente in valore nominale delle monete d'argento da euro 10 commemorative del «100° Anniversario della fondazione del CONI (1914-2014)», millesimo 2014, e' stabilito in euro 50.000,00, pari a 5.000 monete.
