Obverse: On the left-hand side, in an isolated area, image of the Eagle established as the State Emblem of the Republic of Poland. Below, inscription: 10 ZŁ. To the right of the Eagle, at the bottom, notation of the year of issue: 2011. In the centre, stylised silhouettes of six people. In the foreground, on the right-hand side, image of the University of Łódź logo. On the left-hand side, at the top, semicircular inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland). The Mint’s mark, M/W, under the Eagle’s left leg.

Reverse: In the centre, a stylised logo of the events in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Independent Students’ Association (NZS), with inscription: NZS/30 lat (NZS/30 years), against a stylised map of Poland. At the bottom, and to the left, stylised silhouettes of people. In the rim, inscription: 30. ROCZNICA POWSTANIA NIEZALEŻNEGO ZRZESZENIA STUDENTÓW (30th anniversary of the establishment of the Independent Students’ Association).

In the rim, inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland), preceded and followed by six pearls. The Mint’s mark, M/W, under the Eagle’s left leg.

Reverse: Against stylised silhouettes of people, at the bottom, the logo of the events in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Independent Students’ Association: NZS/30 lat (NZS/30 years). In the rim, inscription: 30. ROCZNICA POWSTANIA NIEZALEŻNEGO ZRZESZENIA STUDENTÓW (30th anniversary of the creation of the Independent Students’ Association).

On the edge: The inscription, NBP, repeated eight times, every second one inverted by 180 degrees, separated by stars.
