Der KMS Spanien 2008 wird in diesem Jahr wieder in zwei Varianten ausgegeben.

Das Thema ist noch nicht voll bekannt aber es soll sich um Andalusien oder ähnlich drehen.

Auflage wird wohl wieder 2 x 20.000

Ausgabe noch im April.

Leider ist die Ausgabe wegen Produktionsproblemen auf Juni verschoben worden.

Die spanischen Kurssätze werden dieses Jahr wohl erstmals im Folder ausgegeben , nicht im Blister.

Die Themen der zwei Sätze werden die spanischen Regionen "Andalusien" und "Aragon" behandeln.

Es sind die ersten Sätze aus einer Reihe ähnlich der deutschen Bundesländer Serie.

Es gibt 17 spanische autonome Regionen und 2 freie Städte.

Ab 2008 wird jedes Jahr ein neues KMS Duo in dieser Serie ausgegeben.

Die Auflage bleibt bei 2 x 20.000 maximal

Nun hier die offizielle Mitteilung meines spanischen Ansprechpartners :

Regarding your queries about the 2008 coinsets, at this moment I can tell you the following:
- There will be two different coinsets, comprising, each of them, the eight 2008-dated Spanish Euro coins and one silver medal (just like we did in 2006 with the "Columbus" and the "Accession to the EU" sets).
- We will start a series dedicated to the 17 autonomous regions and 2 autonomous cities in Spain, beginning -in alphabetical order- with Andalucia and Aragon. We will continue with the rest of them in the following years.
- The sets will be made of a plastic blister pack with the coins (the usual one) and a cardboard folder with some information on the autonomous region to which the coinset is dedicated.
- Maximum issue for each coinset: 20.000 pieces.
- The 2008 coinsets should be available by mid June.

At this moment we are still working in the designs of the coinsets. As soon as we get the final designs we will send them to you.

ab 2010 geht die Regionenserie weiter -diese wird wohl bis 2018 fortgeführt.

This year we are starting a series of
coinsets dedicated to the 19 autonomous regions and cities in Spain. The
two ones starting these series are dedicated to Andalucia and Aragon. The
rest of the coinsets will be issued within the next 9 years according to
the following alphabetical order:

Each coinset comprises the Spanish Euro circulation coins of the issue year
together with one silver medal depicting, in its obverse, the coat of arms
of the autonomous region or city and, in its reverse, our Mintmark and the
year of mintage. The plastic blister pack is enclosed in a cardboard folder
and is accompanied by a booklet in which some information on the autonomous
city or region is given.
The silver medal has the following specifications:
- Alloy: Silver 925.
- Quality: Proof.
- Diameter: 24 mm.
- Weight: 6.72 g.

The maximum issue of each coinset is 20,000 pieces.

Gerüchten zufolge sollen erst 2.000 Stück für die Ausgabe am 21.07. fertig sein und die restlichen erst im September ausgegeben werden.

Sist. Monetario Euro 2008-no circulado
Esta emisión incluye la colección de las monedas en euros españolas del año 2008, presentadas en edición limitada dentro de un práctico blister numerado que protege las monedas y, al mismo tiempo, permite la perfecta visualización de ambas caras de las mismas.
La Real Casa de la Moneda, inicia con esta emisión una serie especial dedicada a cada una de las Comunidades Autónomas de España. Este año se ponen a la venta dos modelos de colección, dedicados a Andalucía y Aragón, conteniendo cada uno de ellos una medalla con el escudo correspondiente a su Comunidad.
En esta edición, el blister con monedas de Euro no circuladas incluye una medalla en plata de ley con el escudo de Andalucía o bien con el tradicional escudo de Aragón.
La tirada máxima de este Euroset con monedas acuñadas en 2008 es de 20.000 unidades cada uno.

Euro Coinage 2008 - non-circulated
This limited edition release includes the set of Spanish Euro coins for 2008 encased in a practical, numbered blister pack that protects the coins while at the same time enabling both sides of the coins to be viewed in their entirety.
With this issue the Royal Spanish Mint launches a special series in which each set is dedicated to one of Spain's Autonomous Communities. On sale this year are the collector models dedicated to Andalusia and Aragon, each set containing a medal depicting the coat-of-arms of one Community.
[hr][/hr]For this edition the coin case with the uncirculated Euro coins includes a medal in sterling silver with either the Andalusian coat-of-arms or the traditional coat-of-arms of Aragon.
The maximum mint run for this Euroset of coins minted in 2008 is 20,000 units for each.

This sterling silver medal is dedicated to Andalusia, famed not only for being Spain's most populated Community but also for its cathedrals, fortresses and cities abounding in monuments.
The obverse portrays the coat-of-arms composed of the figure of Hercules taming two lions, the design enclosed by a semicircular arch.
The reverse shows the crowned letter "M", the mint mark of the Royal Spanish Mint.
Aragonese Silver Medal
This sterling silver medal is dedicated to Aragon, renowned for events crucial to both Spain and the whole of Europe, in addition to its producing important politicians, scientists, philosophers and artists embodying a rich and universal culture.
The obverse depicts the traditional coat of arms displaying the four quarters.
The reverse shows the crowned letter "M", the mint mark of the Royal Spanish Mint.
