The obverse of the coin artistically depicts a stylised palette of an artist. The obverse also bears the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania on a relief surface, which is surrounded by the inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania), 2012 and 10 LITŲ (10 litas). There is an oval aperture in the coin, which runs through the numeral “0”.
