The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia adopted a regulation on the issue of collector coins for sale and circulation to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the painter Zoran Mušič. Gold and silver collector coins will be available for sale as of 12 February 2009.

From 12 February 2009, all 88 branch offices of Deželna banka Slovenije will offer for commercial sale gold and silver collectors coins issued to mark the centenary of the birth of Slovene painter Zoran Mušič. The gold coin will be sold for EUR 180 and the silver coin’s selling price will be EUR 40. The Deželna banka Slovenije branch network also still holds commemorative 2-euro coins issued to honour the 10th anniversary of the European Monetary Union (EMU), as well as numismatic coins issued by the Republic of Slovenia during 2008, all available for commercial sale.

V 88 poslovalnicah Deželne banke Slovenije bodo od 12. februarja 2009 na voljo zbirateljski zlatniki in srebrniki, izdani ob 100-letnici rojstva slikarja Zorana Mušiča.

Republika Slovenija ob 100-letnici rojstva slikarja Zorana Mušiča izdaja zbirateljski zlatnik in srebrnik z motivom Mušičevih kraških konjičkov, s katerimi je požel prve uspehe na mednarodnem likovnem prizorišču in v njegovem opusu zavzemajo posebno mesto.

Tako bosta od 12. februarja 2009 v prosti prodaji v vseh enotah Deželne banke Slovenije zbirateljski zlatnik in srebrnik - zlatnik z nominalno vrednostjo 100 EUR bo na voljo za 180 EUR, srebrnik z nominalno vrednostjo 30 EUR pa za 40 EUR. Izdanih bo 6.000 kosov zlatnikov in 8.000 kosov srebrnikov.

V letu 2009 bosta izdana še zbirateljska kovanca (zlatnik in srebrnik), izdana ob 100-letnici prvega poleta z motornim letalom na Slovenskem (prodajna cena 180 oziroma 40 evrov), ter zbirka evrokovancev za leto 2009 (prodajna cena 24 EUR). Numizmatične vrednosti, izdane v letu 2009, ne bodo dokovane.

Interesentom so v mreži Deželne banke Slovenije še vedno na voljo spominski 2-evrski kovanci, izdani ob 10. obletnici Ekonomske in monetarne unije (EMU), ter numizmatične vrednosti, ki jih je Republika Slovenija izdala v letu 2008 (zbirateljski zlatnik, srebrnik ter dvokovinski 3-evrski kovanec, izdani ob predsedovanju Slovenije Evropski uniji, zbirateljski zlatnik in srebrnik, izdana ob 250-letnici rojstva Valentina Vodnika, spominski 2-evrski kovanec, izdan ob 500. obletnici rojstva Primoža Trubarja, ter zbirka slovenskih evrokovancev z letnico kovanja 2008).

Tudi v letu 2009 je v enotah Deželne banke Slovenije in preko obrazca na DBS mogoče prednaročiti numizmatične vrednosti, ki bodo ob različnih priložnostih izdane v letu 2010.

Ažurne informacije na temo numizmatike so ves čas na voljo na spletnih straneh Deželne banke Slovenije in Banke Slovenije ter na brezplačni telefonski številki DBS FON 080 17 55 vsak delovni dan od 8. do 16. ure.

In den 88 Filialen der Deželna banka Slovenije werden ab dem 12. Februar 2009 Gold- und Silbermünzen, ausgegeben anlässlich des 100. Geburtstags des Malers Zoran Mušič, angeboten.

Die Republik Slowenien gibt anlässlich des 100. Geburtstags des Malers Zoran Mušič Sammlermünzen als Gold- und als Silbermünzen mit dem Motiv der Karst-Pferdchen des Mušič, mit denen er erste Erfolge in der internationalen Malerszene erzielte und die in seinem Werk einen besonderen Platz einnehmen, heraus.

Ab dem 12. Februar 2009 werden in allen Filialen der Deželna banka Slovenije Sammlermünzen als Gold- und als Silbermünzen - die Goldmünze im Nennwert 100 Euro zu 180 Euro, die Silbermünze im Nennwert 30 Euro zu 40 Euro - im freien Verkauf sein. Es werden 6.000 Goldmünzen und 8.000 Silbermünzen ausgegeben.

Im Jahr 2009 werden noch Sammlermünzen (Gold- und Silbermünze) anlässlich des 100. Jahrestages des ersten Motorfluges über Slowenien (Verkaufspreis 180 bzw. 40 Euro) sowie eine Zusammenstellung der Euromünzen des Jahrgangs 2009 (Verkaufspreis 24 Euro) ausgegeben. Numismatik-Produkte, ausgegeben 2009, werden nicht nachgeprägt.

Für Interessenten sind bei der Deželna banka Slovenije noch immer im Angebot die 2-Euro-Gedenkmünzen, ausgegeben zum 10. Jahrestag der Wirtschafts- und Währungsunion, sowie Numismatik-Produkte, die von der Republik Slowenien im Jahr 2008 ausgegeben wurden (Gold-, Silber- und 3-Euro-Bimetall-Münze, ausgegeben anlässlich der slowenischen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft, Gold- und Silbermünze, ausgegeben zum 250. Geburtstag von Valentin Vodnik, 2-Euro-Gedenkmünze, ausgegeben zum 500. Geburtstag von Primož Trubar, sowie die Zusammenstellung der slowenischen Euromünzen mit dem Prägejahr 2008).

Auch im Jahr 2009 ist es möglich, bei den Filialen der Deželna banka Slovenije und über das Formular auf der Internetseite http://www.dbs.si/numizmatika Numismatik-Produkte, die im Jahr 2010 zu verschiedenen Anlässen ausgegeben werden, im voraus zu bestellen.

Die für 2009 vorgesehene 3-Euro-Bimetall-Münze zum 100. Motorflug-Jahrestag hat die DBS bei der Aufzählung ganz einfach vergessen. :shock:

From 12 February, gold and silver collectors coins issued to honour the centenary of the birth of Slovene painter and graphics artist Zoran Mušič will be available for sale at all 88 offices of Deželna banka Slovenije across the country.

The Republic of Slovenia has issued gold and silver collectors coins to honour the centenary of the birth of Slovene painter Zoran Mušič. The coins feature artist Mušič’s motif with horses, which brought him the first international acclaim and has a special significance among his collection of works.

Therefore, from 12 February all branch offices of Deželna banka Slovenije will offer for commercial sale gold and silver collectors coins – at the face value of EUR 100, the gold coin will be sold at EUR 180 a piece, while the silver coin will be available at EUR 40 a piece, having the face value of EUR 30. The gold coins’ mintage will be 6,000 pieces, while the silver coins mintage will be 8,000 pieces.

2009 will also see the minting of two other collectors coins (gold and silver). The first will be issued to honour the centenary of the first flight by a powered aircraft over Slovenia (selling prices EUR 180 and EUR 40), while the second is a collection of 2009 euro coins (selling price EUR 24). There will be no additional minting of the numismatic coins issued in 2009.

The Deželna banka Slovenije branch network also still holds commemorative 2-euro coins issued to honour the 10th anniversary of the European Monetary Union (EMU), as well as numismatic coins issued by the Republic of Slovenia during 2008 (gold, silver and bi-coloured 3-euro collectors coins issued to honour Slovenia’s presidency of the European Union; gold and silver collectors coins issued to honour the 250th anniversary of the birth of Slovene poet Valentin Vodnik; the commemorative 2-euro coin issued to honour the 5th centenary of the birth of Slovene Protestant Reformer Primož Trubar; and the collection of 2008 euro coins), all available for commercial sale.

100th anniversary of the birth of painter Zoran Mušič

Slovenian painter, graphic artist and illustrator Zoran Mušič was born on 12 February 1909 in Bukovica pri Gorici. In 1915, and again in 1919, his family was expelled from Primorska to Styria. Mušič attended teacher training college in Maribor. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, completing his studies in 1934. He settled in Ljubljana after 1940. In November 1944 he was interned at the Dachau concentration camp. In June 1945 he returned to Ljubljana, but left the same month for Gorica, and later for Venice, under pressure from the local authorities. In 1952 he held his first independent exhibition in Paris. Afterwards, in agreement with the French gallery, Mušič settled in France, where he was honoured with a large retrospective at the Grand Palais in 1995. Mušič was one of the "École de Paris" artists. He participated in graphic art biennials in Ljubljana, and was one of the leading European graphic artists of his time. He returned frequently to Venice, where he lived until his death on 25 May 2005. He is also buried there.
Zoran Mušič was a painter, graphic artist and master illustrator of contemporary Europe, particularly of the Karst and its surroundings. He primarily painted landscapes, ponies, portraits, self-portraits, scenes of suffering from the Dachau concentration camp, scenes from Venice, still lifes, dual portraits with his wife, Ida, and self-portraits in his old age. Mušič was the only Slovenian artist to break into the elite cultural circles in Italy and France during the 20th century. He became the standard and a mark of quality for all Slovenian artists. For his work, Mušič received all of the highest professional honours and national awards in Slovenia, as well as honours in France and Italy. (Source: Gojko Zupan)

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of painter Zoran Mušič, the Republic of Slovenia is issuing collector coins with the motif of Mušič's Karst ponies, with which he achieved his first success on the international art scene and which hold a special place in his life's work.

Heute hat in allen 88 Filialen der Deželna banke Slovenije der Verkauf der Sammler-Gold- und Silbermünzen, die die Republik Slowenien anlässlich des 100. Jahrestages der Geburt von Zoran Mušič ausgegeben hat, begonnen. Der Verkauf verläuft zügig, ohne längere Warteschlangen. Die genannten Sammlermünzen sind im Rahmen der verfügbaren Mengen ohne Mengenbegrenzung erhältlich. Reserviert sind aber auch Münzen für Vorbesteller, die ihre Bestellungen im Jahr 2008 abgegeben haben.

In einem slowenischen Münzenforum gibt es zwar nur wenige Beiträge (bisher genau 6 Beiträge) zur heutigen Münzausgabe. Aber allein in 3 Beiträgen wird die diesjährige Verpackung der Münzen im Vergleich zum Vorjahr sehr gelobt! Die Banka Slovenije scheint die vermutlich zahlreichen Beschwerden des letzten Jahres ernst genommen zu haben.
