Die letzten estnischen Kursmünzen waren die 1- und 2-Cents von 2012 sowie die 2 Euro "10 Jahre Euro-Bargeld". Ansonsten hatten die Esten nur Sonderprägungen, also Gedenkmünzen.

Eesti Pank has minted additional one and two-cent coins for circulation
14.07.2015
In 2015, Eesti Pank increased the stock of coins in circulation and minted additional one and two-cent coins. The new coins will enter circulation starting from 21 July.
Eesti Pank ordered 14 million one-cent coins and 17.1 million two-cent coins with the total value of 482,390 euros.
The design of Estonian euro coins has not changed compared to the coins already in circulation, with the exception of the year "2015" on the new coins.
The coins were minted at the Lithuanian Mint, who won the tender for the mints that produce euro coins and the cash-providing institutions of the Eurosystem.
The new coins will enter circulation starting from 21 July. They will be distributed by the banks based on demand. New uncirculated coins can be purchased from the Eesti Pank museum shop and the online shop.
In the last quarter of the year, Eesti Pank and the other euro-area member states will also jointly issue a new commemorative two-euro coin dedicated to 30 years of the EU flag. It is planned to issue 350,000 commemorative coins in Estonia.

Meeting of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank
09.09.2015
The board approved the designs for the collector coin dedicated to Jaan Poska and the two-euro commemorative coin dedicated to Paul Keres.
The silver collector coin dedicated to Jaan Poska, with a nominal value of ten euros, was designed by Mall Nukke. The design features a portrait of Jaan Poska and the border of the Estonian state that the delegation led by Poska agreed during the peace negotiations when Estonian became independent. The coin is partly coloured in blue, black and white. Eesti Pank is issuing the coin at the end of January in honour of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the statesman.
The two-euro commemorative coin for Paul Keres was designed by Riho Luuse and has a portrait of Paul Keres in profile, his name and some chess pieces. The design will now be passed for approval to all the euro-area states where the coin will circulate, and then the design will be officially published. The two-euro commemorative coin will enter circulation in early 2016.
The board also approved the minting of 350,000 of the two-euro commemorative coin dedicated to thirty years of the European flag, 3500 of which will be in brilliant uncirculated, or BU, finish. The coins will enter into circulation at the end of December.

Two-euro coins with a commemorative design enter circulation
08.12.2015
•The two-euro coin commemorating 30 years of the flag of the European Union is being issued into circulation in Estonia on 10 December
•The commemorative coin is a two-euro circulating coin with a special design. The coin dedicated to the European Union flag is a joint commemorative coin, which means it is issued in all the countries of the euro area
•For the first time it will be possible to get BU quality finishes of the coin in Estonia
On 10 December, Eesti Pank will release a circulating two-euro coin that has a special design on it dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the flag of the European Union.
The two-euro coin dedicated to the European Union flag is a joint commemorative coin, which means it is issued in all the countries of the euro area. Estonia is one of the last countries in the euro area to issue the coin.
In all, 350,000 of the coins are being issued, of which 3500 have a high-quality finish and are intended for collectors. The coin is being minted in the Lithuanian Mint.
Collectable versions of the coin come in brilliant uncirculated finish in a presentation capsule with an explanatory leaflet, and 3500 of these will be issued at a price of seven euros each.
The commemorative coins can be bought individually, in rolls or in the collectable form from the Eesti Pank museum shop at Estonia pst 11 from 12.00 on 10 December.
The 30th anniversary of the adoption of the European flag by the European Council and the 60th anniversary of its adoption by the Council of Europe fell in June 2015.
The design of the new euro coin was chosen by euro area residents voting online between five different designs. The designs had been submitted in a competition organised by the European Commission by residents of the euro area.
The winning design was by Georgios Stamatopoulos of the Greek central bank.
The design on the national side of the two-euro coin is the same in all the countries of the euro area, but there is a different national symbol and edge text for each issuing country. The Estonian coin bears the word EESTI and EESTI on the edge vertically and inverted. It should be noted that for technical reasons the height of the letters and symbols in the edge text is slightly smaller than on the earlier two-euro circulation coins.
