Asian International Stamp Exhibition Commemorative Silver Coin

Subject In honor of the 21st Asian International Stamp Exhibition held in Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, the Taipei 2008 Asian International Stamp Exhibition Commemorative Coin was produced in a special limited edition minting. This coin is legal tender although not minted for general circulation.
Obverse The main image depicts the flowers of the Rhododendron pseudochrysanthum with the image of Mount Jade (Yushan) in the background. The traditional Chinese characters for "The Year 97 of the Republic of China" are engraved along the upper margin, and "In Commemoration of the Taipei 21st Asian International Stamp Exhibition" along the lower margin.
Reverse The image shows the logo for the 21st Asian International Stamp Exhibition along with the postal emblem of the Republic of China. Along the upper margin are "21st Asian International Stamp Exhibition" in English, while "1 oz." on the light flank, "Ag999" on the left flank, and "100 Dollars" in traditional Chinese in the center can be found below.
